Understandably, some clients who first visit Atlanta Colonic & Massage may have negative or incorrect pre-conceived ideas about Colon Hydrotherapy or Colonics or may be nervous or embarrassed, while others may think colonics are a new and strange idea but soon discover what an incredible experience it is. We would like to share this experience of Natural Colon Cleansing or colonics with everyone.
With Natural Colon Cleansing, also called Colon Hydrotherapy or Colonics we have brought back the simplicity of wellness through a forgotten ancient natural method, which over time has helped maintain the wellbeing of people across many civilizations. Colonics are a safe, simple and naturally effective way to cleanse the body and puts you in control of your own health and wellness. Every organ in the body eliminates its toxins through the colon or urinary tract. If your colon is sluggish or clogged, these toxins may not be eliminated properly and be partially reabsorbed into the body. If healthy, your bowel eliminations should be long, snake-like and float. How many of us can make that claim?
Overall, your risk of developing colorectal cancer is about 1 in 20 (5.1%).
Remember: Colorectal cancer screening saves lives!
Excluding skin cancers, colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer diagnosed in both men and women in the United States. It is expected to cause about 51,690 deaths during 2012; but it is also one of the most preventable.
Colon Hydrotherapy is a 45-minute session experienced in a professional, clean, and private environment, facilitated by an I-ACT certified therapist. The session consists of a gentle flow of warm water into your colon (large intestine), washing away toxins, hydrating your whole body and promoting your body’s natural peristaltic action, which facilitates the movement of wastes through your intestinal tract and colon.

We also ask that you provide a copy of your prescription for our records.
ICD-9-CM codes are used throughout the healthcare industry to describe diseases, injuries, symptoms and conditions. CPT codes are used to describe medical and surgical services performed by healthcare providers. ICD-9-CM codes and CPT codes are inherently related, as the diagnosis (ICD-9-CM code) must support the procedure (CPT code). Therefore, Medical claims typically require a valid ICD-9-CM diagnosis code and a CPT procedure code in order to be reimbursed.
Note: Atlanta Colonic & Massage does not diagnose treat or prescribe for any medical condition or recommend treatment.
