MicroNeedling PRP Facials
Microneedling or collagen induction therapy stimulates your own bodies wound healing response. The result increases your collagen and elastin production. It can be done as a facial or used with your bodies own PRP (platelet rich plasma).
MicroNeedling is a revolutionary skin treatment where a handpiece with small needles creates micro controlled punctures, putting your skin into ‘repair mode and stimulates your own bodies healing response.
The therapy results in an increase of collagen and elastin production and can be done as a facial or used with your body’s own PRP (platelet-rich plasma and growth factors which stimulates a stem cell response. Stem cells support the growth of new collagen and blood vessels to repair and regenerate the skin, reversing the signs of aging.

The MicroNeedling treatment plan, over time may result the following benefits:
- Improve sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles
- Improve the appearance of scars and stretchmarks
- Improve the appearance of age spots and acne
- Improve the appearance of large pores and rosacea
So is this incredible treatment just for the face? NO!
One of the very exciting things for us women and men alike is that this is a great treatment for things like stretch marks, cellulite, and even unsightly veins.
By improving blood circulation and reducing the size of the fat cells, cellulite and stretchmarks are reduced, resulting in visibly firmer and smoother looking skin.
MicroNeedling is even more effective when combined with Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)
Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy – also known as the ‘ Vampire Lift’ – gives excellent results. PRP contains growth factors that additionally stimulate cellular regeneration and collagen production. This is done by drawing a sample of your blood and centrifuging it (spinning it) to separate the red blood cells – erythrocytes from the plasma which contain platelets which release a cascade of growth factors which induce natural collagen production for firmer, glowing and wrinkle free skin.
Does MicroNeedling hurt?
A topical anesthetic cream is used before the treatment, so discomfort is minimal. The most sensitive areas tend to be the forehead and upper lip. Redness and swelling or bruising after treatment/ post treatment may occur but typically only lasts 24-48 hours, until the skin returns to normal.
Use of sunscreen and avoidance of direct sunlight is strongly recommended after treatment
How long before you see results?
While MicroNeedling is a revolutionary skin treatment, the healing results are seen over time.
Final results won’t be noticeable for three to twelve months, as boosting collagen and elastin within the dermis take time. Results are dependent on the individual.
Best visible results are seen with a series of at least 4 to 12 treatments, spaced 3 to 6 weeks apart.
The complexion becomes more even and brighter over time and the results are enhanced if combined with specific medical grade creams and active ingredients recommended by your therapist.
